Meeting in front of the station

Marrakech railway station sits where Guéliz meets Hivernage. When booking, tell us the time your train is due in and the city it departs from. The handover takes place on the forecourt in front of the main entrance, or in the neighbouring car park when traffic is heavy. A WhatsApp message as you step off the platform lets us find each other within a few minutes.

Trains don't always run on time. If yours is delayed, write to us from your seat: the meeting is simply moved.

Getting started from this area

The station area is crossed by wide multi-lane avenues, with roundabouts that get busy at rush hour. In front of the building, taxis stop and pull away without warning: keep your distance as you leave the car park. The advantage of this starting point is that the roads to Casablanca, Agadir and Essaouira all connect without passing near the edges of the Medina.

Which car after a train journey

Travelling light, with a bag or a cabin suitcase? A Dacia Logan or another model from the small cars range will do the job in town and on plains roads. For the mountains or a multi-day loop, an SUV from the standard cars category gives you a higher driving position and more room on board.

Arriving by train and then continuing to the Atlantic is a common combination.
